OPEN CALL: Dance Work & Dance Films for MOVING EARTH - Eco Dance Day

Date: June 14, 2025

Location: Interface, Inagh Valley, Connemara

Deadline: April 21st, 2025 email: lindaschirmer@googlemail.com

As part of my Galway Dance Residency, I am excited to present MOVING EARTH on June 14, 2025, at Interface in Inagh Valley, Connemara. This event will bring together dancers and the local community to explore ecological themes through dance and performance. The day will feature live performances and screenings of dance films, with a special community workshop and relaxed performance in celebration of Global Water Day.

The majority of the event will take place outdoors, offering a unique opportunity to connect with nature through movement. Indoor spaces at Interface will be used primarily for screenings. However, should the weather be unfavorable, we will use the gallery-style indoor space, although it is not equipped as a traditional dance studio. Please note that the event will have a relaxed, informal, and community-focused atmosphere.
